Acceptance of terms
By scheduling service, accepting a written estimate, or allowing our technicians on your property, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not engage our services.
Service estimates and pricing
All estimates are provided in writing on the day of service before any work begins. The Diagnostic visit is waived when you book the repair on the same visit. Final pricing matches the written estimate unless additional issues are discovered and approved by you in writing during the visit.
Workmanship warranty
1-year labor warranty on all repairs and installations from the date of service. Manufacturer warranties on parts (springs, openers, panels) vary by brand and are filed with you on completion. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, vehicle impact, weather events beyond manufacturer specifications, or unauthorized third-party modifications.
Payment terms
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, ACH transfer, and check. Financing is available on installs of qualifying installs through approved third-party lenders. Past-due balances over 30 days accrue interest at 1.5% per month.
Cancellation policy
You may cancel a scheduled appointment without charge up to 2 hours before the appointment window starts. Same-day cancellations within the 2-hour window incur a dispatch fee. New-door install orders cancelled after the door has been ordered from the manufacturer are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Property access and safety
You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area, including clearing the garage of vehicles and personal items where necessary. Garage Door Pros is not responsible for damage to items not removed from the work area or for pre-existing structural conditions discovered during service.
Liability limitation
Garage Door Pros maintains $1M general liability insurance. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of property, business interruption, or vehicle damage occurring outside the immediate service window.
Hurricane and HVHZ compliance
All new garage door installations in Broward and Miami-Dade counties are HVHZ-rated and comply with Florida wind code at time of install. We pull the necessary permit and meet the inspection. We are not responsible for code changes that occur after the install date or for damage from storms exceeding the rated wind speed of the installed door.
Photographs and reviews
We may photograph completed installs for our portfolio and may use them on our website, marketing, and social media. Customer names, faces, and addresses are not used without written consent. You may request photos of your install be removed by emailing info@garagefl.com.
Dispute resolution
Any disputes are first addressed through direct discussion. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes are subject to non-binding mediation in Broward County, Florida, before any legal action. Florida law governs these terms.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
